ITINERARIO
## Day 1: Puno – Uros Floating Islands – Amantani Island Homestay
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the main port of Lake Titicaca to start our tour.
* **Uros Floating Islands Tour:** Our first stop is the famous Uros Floating Islands. You will learn how the locals built these artificial reed islands on the highest navigable lake in the world. The guided visit lasts about 1.5 hours.
* **Amantani Island Cultural Experience:** Next, we take a 3-hour boat ride (9 km) enjoying beautiful views of the Andes. At the Amantani port, local families will welcome us and provide accommodation, traditional meals, and unique hospitality. In the afternoon, we will hike to the sacred **Pacha Tata** mountain to watch the sunset. Overnight stay at a local family house.
## Day 2: Amantani Island – Taquile Island – Puno Return
After a traditional breakfast with your host family, we will navigate for 1 hour to Taquile Island.
* **Taquile Island Textile Art:** Taquile is world-famous for its high-quality textile art, recognized by **UNESCO**. Here, men do the spinning and weaving starting at age eight. Life here remains untouched by modern times.
* **Local Lunch & Return:** We will explore the island for 2 hours and enjoy a traditional lunch (1 hour). You can voluntarily buy local handicrafts to support the community’s sustainability. Finally, we take the boat back to Puno, arriving at approximately 17:00 PM.
